Going into business alone
I’ve already managed businesses alone and I say “never again”! Now I have co-founders with me to share the burden of management. I really believe it’s necessary on the long-term. It’s necessary to share the stress, so you don’t have to carry the burden alone for years and years. It’s necessary because we’re human. As humans, we all have moments of weakness. We all have times when we’re not 100%. And when you have co-founders, there’s someone there to help, someone to step in.
The ideal number of co-founders
Three co-founders is the magic number. Because it’s not 1 against 1. It’s always 2 against 1 when there’s a decision to make. It really helps dodge potential conflict.
